Boasting a massive ensemble cast consisting of Alec Baldwin, Cynthia Nixon, Jill Hennessy, Timothy Hutton, Kieran Culkin and Rory Culkin, Lymelife follows the lives of two troubled families during the 1970s. Struggling to cope with Lyme disease, Charlie’s (Timothy Hutton) world is destined to crumble further around him after he discovers that his rather flirtatious (there’s another word for it, but we’ll be good and bite our tongue) wife is fooling around with her business partner, Mickey (Alec Baldwin). Despite being well aware of her husband’s bad behaviour, his wife Brenda (Jill Hennessy) tries to rise above it all in order to ensure that her family remains together. But as is usually the case, Mickey and Brenda’s teenage kids, Scott (Rory Culkin) and Adrianna (Emma Roberts), sense that something isn’t quite right with their parents and attempt to cope with this realisation while also trying to come to terms with all of the usual adolescent strife they’re experiencing. Oh dear!
