Seven Psychopaths
Release date: 13-03-2013
You’d be forgiven for thinking that Seven Psychopaths is a little bizarre but then again, it is the follow-up effort from Martin McDonagh whose first film was In Bruges. Marty (Colin Farrell) is experiencing every writer’s worst dream: writer’s block. While he has a title for his next script, he can’t quite get stuck into actually writing it. Luckily for Marty, his bestie Billy (Sam Rockwell) who’s a part-time dog-napper, is looking to help Marty and he’s willing to go to any length to do so. Billy’s partner in terms of the dog-napping caper is Hans (Christopher Walken). When Billy and Hans dog-nap Bonny the shih tzu, they have no idea that its owner Charlie (Woody Harrelson) is a psychopathic gangster. And Charlie’s not about to take the kidnap of his beloved pooch lightly… let’s just say that Marty may have his next tale served up to him on a platter. He just might not survive to write the tale.
