Its been fifteen years since the Street Fighter video game was adapted to film (you might remember Jean-Claude Van Damme teaming up with Australias pop princess, Kylie Minogue). Now comes Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li starring Chris Klein (from American Pie) and Kristin Kreuk (from Smallville). Bison (Neil McDonough), a criminal mastermind, his sidekick Balrog (Michael Clarke Duncan), assassin Vega (Taboo from The Black-Eyed Peas) and the evil Cantana (Josie Ho) rule the streets of Bangkok. Together, they revel in causing panic and mayhem on the citys streets. Enter the very cool and highly-trained warrior, Chun-Li (Kreuk). Shell stop at nothing short of justice as she goes on a mission to take Bison and his gang down in order to save the city. Meanwhile, Interpole agent Charlie Nash (Klein) is hot on her trail as he engages in his own quest to bring Bison to justice. Fans of the very iconic video game will love the latest film version of Street Fighter for its high-tempo and non-stop action! |
