"Think Robert Pattinson is destined to be remembered as a pale vampire for the rest of his career? Well, think again because Remember Me shows off enough of his acting chops to suggest that this is one Brit were all going to have to get used to seeing for a long time yet. Tyler Hawkins (Pattinson) is a college student stuck in a feud with his wealthy businessman of a father Charles (Pierce Brosnan). Worse still, hes in the endless shadow of his elder brother who committed suicide a decade earlier. After a night out with his flatmate and friend Aidan (Tait Ellington), things go horribly wrong for Tyler and he ends up being arrested and held in a cell overnight. Things get complicated when Tyler spots Ally (Emilie de Ravin), the daughter of the officer that arrested him. Tyler takes an immediate shine to her and soon, the two start dating and Ally reveals her painful past. One warning: watch out for the rather eerie ending." |
