Did you know that Rise of the Guardians is inspired by a book? William Joyce, the mind behind other on-screen classics like Meet the Robinsons, adapted the script from his series of novels, The Guardians of Childhood.

Another movie to come from a book is The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Stephen Chbosky wrote the book that the movie is based on. He also wrote the screenplay and directed the movie – a very rare triple feat.
