Did you know that Life of Pi is based off a novel? Author Yann Martel had his book rejected by five publishers before finally being taken on in 2001. After selling more than 10 million copies and getting an Oscar-winning film adaptation, we suspect that some of those other publishers are now kicking themselves.

This week's horror, When the Lights Went Out, is based on supposedly-true events that occurred in 1974. The director of the film, Pat Holden, had a special interest in the story, considering that the woman who owned the haunted house was his Aunt.
