Hey Insiders,

Spring has sprung, the grass is ris, here is where the movies is. Welcome to October and please forgive us our dad-style intro. Even the toughest dads will have a hard time facing Jane Fonda in the family dramedy Georgia Rule, but Lindsay Lohan and Felicity Huffman make it well worth the effort.

That's just the first of a stack of October gems you may not have heard of, like Emilio Estevez's Bobby, the latest US teen dance epic Stomp the Yard, and the legendary Peter O'Toole in Venus.

If you're after something big, you can't go past Ice Cube and family in Are We Done Yet?, Hilary Swank in The Reaping, and the world's most sensitive superhero in Spider-Man 3.

As we get to the business end of September, there are still heaps of DVDs to enjoy before October brings fresh and scary offerings.

See you in-store.
