Hey Insiders,

It probably won't surprise you that we're thinking about one movie above all others this fortnight. Yes, just like everyone else we've got Batman fever with the release of The Dark Knight. And you know what, it not only lives up to, but completely exceeds the hype. Christian Bale again shows us that Batman should be dark and brooding; while Heath Ledger delivers an incredible performance as The Joker. Trust us, this is a truly special film.

But it's not just Batman hitting our shelves this fortnight; we've also got Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy with an army's worth of weaponry and some very stylised action in Wanted; and Mike Myers shows Justin Timberlake the secrets of love in The Love Guru - prepare yourself for some funny Myers accents. And fans of Eastern cinema have a treat with The Forbidden Kingdom, the first time that Jackie Chan and Jet Li have worked together.

And we haven't forgotten our younger renters either, with Jack Black lending his voice to the world's most unco bear in Kung Fu Panda. (Psst, the parents will want to watch this as well.) There's more animated fun with Elephant Tales and Open Season 2 as well.

So it's one packed fortnight of fun and action at your local Network store.

See you in-store.

Resistance 2 (MA15+)
OUT NOW

The original Resistance game was arguably the pick of the PlayStation 3 launch titles. Now Resistance 2 ups the action, danger and excitement. Once again you play as solider Nathan Hale, as you lead the fight against the invading Chimera alien hordes. With a huge range of weaponry at your disposal, you're going to be giving them one hell of a fight as you defend both coasts of the United States. There are few first person shooters that can match the intensity of Resistance 2.
