Hi there Insiders!

We've been getting all patriotic recently, because Baz Luhrmann's epic Australia has landed on our shelves (yes, it's there right now), and what a film it is too. Not only do you have Aussie icons Nicole Kidman and the frequently shirtless Hugh Jackman up front and centre, but they're backed by some legends of Aussie cinema, including Bryan Brown, Jack Thompson, David Gulpilil, John Jarratt and Bruce Spence. You don't get much more Australian than that line-up. And it's good to see that all that talent hasn't gone to waste, as Australia is a cracker of a film. Action, romance, incredible shots of the Australian outback; it's got it all.

But it's not just Australia that's been getting us excited this fortnight. We've been going deep, deep underground with the still hunky Brendan Fraser in Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Now, the "scientists" would have you believe that there's nothing underground other than a whole lot of rock, and some lava in the middle (kind of like a giant Cadbury Créme Egg, only not as tasty), but Hollywood has taught us that there are dinosaurs, strange plants and other bizarre things not seen by those of us who live on the exterior of the planet. Of course, with action scenes galore this is much more exciting than a nature documentary, especially if you get the special 3D edition.

Those of you who like to sing will certainly dig High School Musical 3: Senior Year, and... oh, who are we kidding? We know that you've all been hanging out for the third in the song-tastic series, and that you know all about it already. And for those of you who don't, we've got two words for you: Zac Efron. Yes, that super-sexy Zac Efron. We'll see you screaming in front of our new release shelves immediately.

And that's just a slice of what your local Network store has for you over the next couple of weeks. If none of those take your fancy, the good news is that we've got more movies than you can point a stick at (unless you're a professional stick pointer), so we've always got something for you to watch.

We'll see you in-store.
