Hi there Insiders!

We're back for another fortnight of great movies, good times and putting your feet up. Just make sure they aren't in the way of the TV screen. Kicking it off this time round is Duplicity, starring Julia Roberts and Clive Owen. Part political thriller, part farcical comedy, this isn't an easy movie to nail down, as just when you think it's taken a serious tone, it moves back into the realm of comedy. It's an interesting blend, as former MI6 Agent Koval (Owen) and former CIA Agent Stenwick (Roberts) both try to outwit each other, and also team up together as they attempt to engineer a feud between two companies for their financial benefit. While the sting is complicated, the movie really isn't, and you'll enjoy the lengths Koval and Stenwick reach to achieve their goal.

When you think heavyweights of Hollywood, two names that come immediately to mind are Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro. They famously teamed up together for 1995's Heat, and now they return for Righteous Kill. They play cops partnered together, whose bond gets stronger when Turk (DeNiro) is accused of killing a suspected rapist. As Rooster (Pacino) tries to clear his partner's name, Turk gets closer to the truth of what happened, leading to some surprising revelations. This is an engaging cop thriller that makes the most of the fantastic acting talent on display.

One genre that we just don't get enough of is the Western, and when they're of the quality of Appaloosa, we wonder why Hollywood doesn't make more of them. We follow Sheriff Cole (Ed Harris) and his deputy Hitch (Viggo Mortensen), who have arrived at the lawless town of Appaloosa on a mission to clean it up. Ruthless rancher Randall Bragg (Jeremy Irons) already has an iron grip on the town, and he isn't about to give it up without a fight. The small town of Appaloosa is going to erupt in violence. This movie blends classic Western style with modern film techniques, and the results are stunning.

And as you can see, that's hardly all we've got for you right now at your local Network store. Take a look around the shelves of movies, and you're sure to find something that'll entertain you. Even if you're one of those fussy types.

We'll see you in-store.
