Hi there Movie Clubbers,

Another fortnight has sped past so it's time to have a look at what's new at your local Network store. As usual, we've got a big couple of weeks coming up so let's get stuck into it.

Tom Hanks isn't the most successful box-office star in history for nothing. He has a reputation for producing quality movies and Angels & Demons is no exception. Who can forget Hanks racing around the world as Robert Langdon back in 2004 in
The Da Vinci Code? Now it's time for the prequel, Angels & Demons where he summons his global trotting habits once again in order to combat The Illuminati whom the Catholic Church believes is trying to destroy the Vatican. This is a movie that doesn't allow you to come up for air at any moment. A must-see for The Da Vinci Code fans (and there's a lot of them).

Hey girls, how about a little bit of Matthew McConaughey to brighten up your world? Not that we've left out the guys with Jennifer Garner. Yes,
Ghost of Girlfriends Past gives us the best of both worlds. McConaughey plays Connor, an established photographer who has women at his feet. He's very proud of his own bachelor status so when his brother, Paul (Breckin Meyer), invites him to his wedding, alarm bells sound. Meanwhile, Connor re-acquaints himself with childhood flame Jenny (Garner). The night before the big shindig, Connor is visited by three ghosts who show him his past, present and lonely future. If you've seen a rom-com before, you'll have a fair idea of how this one ends.

Now that we've got you in the mood for some comedy, how about I Love You, Man? Paul Rudd and Jason Segel have become notorious funny-men as of late and together they are simply comedy gold. Peter (Rudd) is a real estate agent who has just become engaged to Zooey (Rashida Jones). Now, Peter needs to find a friend to stand as his best man at the wedding, the only problem is: he can't seem to find any. Soon, he meets Sydney (Segel) who he immediately connects with but what's going to happen when Zooey meets him? You guessed it, they're going to clash big time and what follows is a priceless flick packed with laughs.

And how can we forget the kiddies? Monsters vs Aliens is sure to have them occupied as they laugh their way through the film. Ever pondered what would happen if you became a monster after being struck by a meteorite from outer space? Welcome to Susan's (Reese Witherspoon) world. Now that she's a monster, she's been captured by the government who plan to use her and other monsters like her to combat the evil aliens seeking world domination. Kids (including big kids) are
going to love this one!

Not satisfied with the combo of Hanks, Garner and McConaughey, Rudd and a splash of aliens? Come on over to your local Network store; you're sure to find something you'll love.

See you in-store.
