Hi there Insiders,

Have you been lost, wondering what's out at your local Network store? Don't worry, we're here to give you a road map to all the latest and best, so you'll be lost no more. Or maybe you won't, as Land of the Lost hits our shelves this fortnight. Based on the '60s TV show and starring the always funny Will Ferrell, this has a compelling blend of adventure, action and comedy to make it a perfect movie for any family occasion. Plus, it has dinosaurs, and we can't think of a film that wouldn't be better with dinosaurs (go on, you think of one). This might not tax the brain cells too much, but you'll be having too much fun to care.

Speaking of fun things that won't tax the brain cells, how about that Hannah Montana? She's become the biggest thing on the Disney Channel, and now she gets a feature length movie of her very own. Starring the surprisingly talented Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana: The Movie sees our favourite pop star give up the trappings of fame to go back to her former life in rural Montana, but can she really stay away from the spotlight? If you loved the TV show, you're gonna love this too.

So, we've talked about Montana; let's go over to another US state for our next film. The King of California stars Michael Douglas (cast against type) as Charlie, a father just released from a mental institution who seeks to reconnect with Miranda, his estranged daughter (played by Evan Rachel Wood, who also played an estranged daughter in The Wrestler). Once they reunite, Charlie reveals to Miranda that he's actually searching for hidden Spanish gold, which he believes is buried under a Costco. Yes, things get a little weird as they try to break into a department store, but it's great fun because of it.

While Michael Douglas goes breaking into a Costco, in The Escapist Brian Cox tries to break out of prison. He plays Frank Perry, a life-long criminal who has settled into the routine of prison life, and has resigned himself to seeing out his days behind bars. But that resolve is shaken when he learns that his daughter has fallen gravely ill, and he makes plans to break out of prison to see her. But getting out of prison is a lot harder than getting in, especially when your best days are behind you. This drama/thriller is a showcase for Cox's considerable talents, and any movie fan will dig this.

And if that's not enough for you, there's a lot more on the shelves at your local Network store right now.

We'll see you in-store.
