Hi there Movie Clubbers,

What a fortnight we have in store for you in, er, our store. Let's kick it off with some cute little critters - guinea pigs. Who doesn't love guinea pigs? They're cute; they're cuddly; they can use military equipment and serve as secret agents. Wait, what? G-Force shows that your common household pet might know more than it's letting on; as this hi-tech team uses the latest in pet sized hardware to save the world. Hint: it's not a documentary.

If you recall the very early '80s and a particular song from a soundtrack, you'll know that fame could make you live forever. We're not sure that fame actually does make you immortal, but we do know that Fame the movie has some longevity thanks to the recent remake. As you'd expect, it's got singing, dancing, crying and laughing; and if you've been bitten by the Aus Idol / Aussie's Got Talent bug, you'll want to see this.

And we've also got Leelee Sobieski making a welcome return to the limelight in the very saucy Finding Bliss (it's set on the set of a porn movie - ooer!), and the former Manchester United legend turned modern day renaissance man Eric Cantona in Looking for Eric. Goooooaaaalll!

We've got all that and more at your local Network store this fortnight.

See you in-store.

Fame follows a talented group of students over 4 years at the prestigious New York City High School of Performing Arts. The students are given a chance to live out their dreams and achieve real fame. In an incredibly competitive atmosphere, each student's passion will be put to the test.

G-Force (PG)

Ever wondered what would happen if guinea-pigs could interact with us? Well, in 2010, thanks to the many technological advancements in movie-making, we get to see it first-hand in G-Force. The film works off this central premise: a group of small animals have been trained as government spies. The G-Force is a squad of three guinea pigs and a

Red Cliff (MA15+)

Is it just us or does every John Woo film have a sequence featuring doves at some point (if you've seen more than one of Woo's films, you'll know what we mean!)? Set in 208 A.D. in ancient China at the end of The Han Dynasty, this film depicts the events (with the use of a few creative liberties on Woo's part) leading up to the 'Battle of Red Cliffs'.

The Red Baron (M)

You may think that if you've seen one war movie, you've seen them all but The Red Baron, a biopic about the life of the Great War's premier fighter pilot, will put that theory to rest. Manfred Von Richthofen (Matthias Schweighöfer) was no ordinary man. He began his life as a cavalry officer before switching to flying after horses became a thing of
